FAQ

Fees

Individual sessions are £65 for 50 minutes.
Couples sessions are £75 for 60 minutes.

A limited number of concessionary spaces are available.

How often are the sessions?

Sessions usually take place weekly at a regular time.

Where do sessions take place?

I offer sessions in person in Teddington (TW11), as well as online across the UK.

What happens in the first session?

The first session is a chance to meet and begin to think about what has brought you to therapy. There’s no expectation to have everything worked out — we start wherever you are.

How long does therapy last?

I offer both short-term and longer-term work. Short-term therapy may be around 8 sessions, while longer-term work is open-ended. We can think together about what might suit you and review this as we go.

Do you offer an initial call?

I offer a free 15-minute introductory call. This is a chance to ask any questions and get a sense of whether working together feels right.

Do you offer group therapy?

I am developing a small group for people living with chronic illness and autoimmune conditions — a space to reflect on the impact these can have and to share that experience with others.

If this feels relevant to you, you’re welcome to get in touch.

Are you insured?

I abide by the ethical codes of conduct of both the UKCP and Metanoia Institute. I am fully insured, hold UKCP trainee membership (2011194504), and am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

How do I get in touch?

You’re welcome to get in touch via the contact page below or email claireparsonstherapy@gmail.com and I’ll respond as soon as I can.
